Liver with caramelized onions and TOP Balsamic Cream with Honey and Lemon Chef Dimitris Skarmoutsos prepares a delicious, easy and quick recipe with fried beef liver!

LIVER WITH CARAMELIZED ONIONS AND TOP BALSAMIC CREAM WITH HONEY AND LEMON

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 pieces beef liver
  • 4 onions
  • 4 tbsp TOP Balsamic Cream with Honey and Lemon
  • 50gr Horio cow butter
  • 4 tbsp Horio Classic olive oil
  • 30gr all-purpose flour
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Some finely chopped parsley (optionally)

EXECUTION

  1. Finely chop onions and leave aside.

  2. Put flour in a plate and then put liver in flour. Cover both sides and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Put Horio cow butter and Horio Classic olive oil in a pan.

  4. Fry liver from each side for 2 minutes and leave aside.

  5. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp Horio cow butter and sauté onion over high heat until brown.

  6. Add TOP Balsamic Cream with Honey and Lemon and cook for 1 more minute.

  7. Serve liver with caramelized onions on top and sprinkle with parsley.

  8. Season with salt and pepper, if necessary, and serve.
