Burger with caramelized onions No one will say no to a delicious burger with freshly grounded meat, vegetables and TOP Balsamic Vinegar, made by chef Dimitris Skarmoutsos!

BURGER WITH CARAMELIZED ONIONS

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tsp Horio Classic olive oil
  • 2 cups finely cut sweet onion
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tblsp TOP Balsamic Vinegar
  • 3 tblsp grated parmesan
  • 2 tblsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil
  • 450 gr mince
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 sliced big tomato
  • Lettuce leaves

EXECUTION

  1. Heat Horio Classic olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium high heat.

  2. Add the onion, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 6 minutes.

  3. Add TOP Balsamic Vinegar and cook for 30 more seconds.

  4. Put parmesan, tomato pasta, oregano, garlic powder, basil and mince in a bowl and knead them well.

  5. Make 4 burgers and heat a grill pan over medium high heat.

  6. Oil the pan and cook the burgers both sides.

  7. Fill each bun with lettuce leaves, 2 slices of tomato, 1 burger and ¼ cup of the onion mixture and serve.
