GIANT BEANS IN THE HULL WITH SALTED PORK AND TOP BALSAMIC CREAM TOMATO AND HERBS

INGREDIENTS
  • 500 gr giant beans
  • 100 gr leek
  • 20 gr finely chopped dill
  • 50 gr finely chopped chives
  • 200 gr salted pork – Syglino from Mani, cubed
  • 400 ml Horio Mountain Regions olive oil
  • 600 ml tomato juice
  • 80 gr TOP Balsamic Cream Tomato and Herbs
  • 60 gr sliced celery
  • 100 gr sliced carrots
  • 2 bay leafs
  • Salt
  • Red pepper

EXECUTION

  1. Leave giant beans in the water for 10-12 hours to soften.

  2. Boil in salted water for 1,5 hour and drain.

  3. In a pot, sauté in Horio Mountain Regions olive oil syglino, leek and chives. Add beans, celery, carrots and TOP Balsamic Cream Tomato and Herbs.

  4. Finish with tomato juice.

  5. Transfer all pot’s ingredients in a hull, add bay leafs, salt, red pepper and bake for 50 minutes at 180 C.
